Class 47s from Locomotive Services, West Coast Railways and Rail Operations Group. A number of special trains are featured alongside stock deliveries. Class 73s including test trains. West Coast Observations. The West Coast Main Line through the Midlands and Crewe and over Shap to Carlisle sees a considerable range of electric and diesel traction. We feature this motive power at a number of locations throughout the route including Nuneaton, Atherstone, Grendon, the climb from Tebay to the summit at Shap and Carlisle. Class 47s, 68s, 66s, 88s, 90s along with HSTs all feature on a wide variety of traffic past & present. A number of special trains are also included on the premier main line.

Aspects of Freight. The Berks & Hants. The main line west through Newbury to Westbury has some fine photographic locations and plenty of heavy freight. We look at the route with Class 59s, in action at a number of vantage points including Bedwyn and the route along the Kennet Valley. Class 60s in the North East with DB and GBRF examples in and around Yorkshire. Tail Lamp – York. A variety of traffic.
