Survivors from 1968   looking at those engines from the final year of steam which escaped the scrapheap. We start with a look at steam in and around Carnforth in 1968 plus Carnforth Steamtown. Locos featured include Ivatt 43106, Black 5s 45110, 45305, 45025, 44871, 45407, 44932 , 45212 & 45231. Stanier 8Fs 48773 & 48151. Standards 75027 & 73050. 9F 92212. Britannia 70013 Oliver Cromwell.

End of Steam Galas   The major Great Central Gala of August marking 50 years since the end of working steam and including 70013 Oliver Cromwell, 8F 48624 & Standard 73156.  The Keighley & Worth Valleys major event from the 24th of June plus archive of the railway in 1967.  The Severn Valley Last Day of Steam Gala with 45110 and 48773, the Master Neverers and commemorative trains.
